Lakes foods
The countries surrounding the lake are rich in culinary traditions, many companies have specialized to guarantee local DOC products:
- Wine: Lugana, Classico, Tocai, Bardolino, Nosiola, Chiaretto, Franciacorta
- Oil del Garda: typical main product of the lake and has some organoleptic peculiarities that make it unique and valuable, with a delicate taste and low acidity.
- Lake fish: sardine (lavarello), aola (alborella), cavedano, carp, carpione, whitefish, pike, tinca, trout.
- Cheeses: Seasoned Garda, Tremosine cheese , Bagoss, Tombea cheese and many others to taste
- Dessert: Torta delle rose (cake) , Abissini, Torta di Maderno (cake)
